About the University:
Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is a state university established by The Government of Gujarat in 2008 under UGC Section 2(f). The university is accredited as grade ‘A’ university by NAAC for quality education and a state of the art research infrastructure. M.PHARM Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (PCI Approved) - 12 seats
This specialization in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance course is designed by PCI to enrich students with extensive training on pharmaceutical analysis and quality assurance with a range of modern instruments and techniques which include analysis of nanotechnology based products, biological materials and quality assurance during manufacturing and research.
The students pursuing this course are placed in pharmaceutical companies dealing with manufacturing, research & development or clinical trials. Also, students may be placed in various governmental and private companies providing services of analytical research.
Excellent analytical testing instrumentation availability at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University provides students of this program an excellent learning experience.

M.PHARM Forensic Pharmacy - 15 seats
M.Pharm program in Forensic Pharmacy is specially designed by Gujarat Forensic Sciences University to prepare human resource with multi dimensional expertise who can serve in core forensic environment as well as in various departments of Pharmaceutical Industries and Pharmaceutical sector at large. Specializations offered by university under Forensic Pharmacy program are (1) NDDS, (2) Regulatory Affairs and (3) Pharmacology & Toxicology.
Our alumni from this program are currently working in research or regulatory divisions of pharmaceutical multinational companies like Sun Pharma, Pfizer, Amneal, Zydus Cadila etc. Our pass out students also gets opportunity to pursue doctoral research in many foreign universities. Our students also get opportunity to work in Forensic Labs (through government recruitment) as scientist because drug abuse, drug duplication etc contributes in a major number of drug related crimes. Apart from regular academics, our students gets opportunity to participate in real investigation cases being undertaken at the university related to product failure, reverse engineering and government funded research projects. Eligibility: B.Pharm with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Students who have appeared in final semester examination and waiting for result can also apply.

Admission Procedure: Admissions will be based on the merit list obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar or aggregate score obtained in all semesters of bachelor degree. The Entrance test will be of 100 marks with one and half hour’s duration based on multiple choice questions on B.Pharm. level Pharmacy syllabus and general knowledge
